Hi, I'm Jeff Taussig.  I section hiked the Appalachian Trail from 2001 thru 2006.  When I'm not running the Vermont hostel, you can find me hiking the PCT and other great trails.   My treks have allowed me to visit some of the best hostels in the country.  My wife Regina and I have incorporated many outstanding features of these hostels into Green Mountain House.  We opened our home to hikers in 2008 and have met some of the most interesting characters.
